A valid Red Cross or St John's Ambulance certificate is needed as a minimum qualification and the minimum age for this team is 18.

Check the qualifications of own first aiders are current.

Ensure an adequate facility is established on site and that everyone knows where it is.

Ensure sufficient first aiders and resources are available at all times.

Ensure appropriate access to any details of relevant medicals needs of children.

Ensure availability of transport should a child need to be taken to hospital.

Work with Registration Co-ordinator to ensure a robust system for handling any medications needed by children during the day.

Liaise with site office/registration to organise collection of sick/injured children.
